Richard Mille welcomes young German driver Mick Schumacher to its family of champions. Determination and competitiveness are the main qualities that define Mick Schumacher – characteristics that he demonstrated last year, when he won the FIA Formula 3 European Championship Title. Mick made his Formula 2 debut with Prema Racing on the Bahrain International Circuit in March. He finished 8th of the first race (32 laps) and 6th of the second race (23 laps).

Since the very beginning, Mick has consciously earned his spurs through hard work and perseverance, proving his rightful place in the sport. He has a talented past as a kart driver under his mother’s name, Betsch. In 2014, he was runner-up at the Karting World, European and German Championships, this time under the name of Mick Junior. 2015 saw Schumacher’s transition to ADAC Formula 4, the German federation of automobile clubs, at Van Amersfoort Racing, then as part of Prema Powerteam the following year. He finished second at the 2016 German championship and competed simultaneously in the Italian Formula 4 championships where despite not participating in all races he also came in second.

The next year, Mick made the move to Formula 3 before sealing the deal in 2018 at the European championships. “Racing is constantly on my mind. Of course my goal is Formula 1. The FIA Formula 2 Championship offers me another milestone towards my declared dream”, says Mick.

Mick has all he needs to reach the highest echelons of Formula 1 and to give the crowds in the stands the chance to chant once more the name of Schumacher.
