Parmigiani Fleurier - Tonda 1950 Clarity

Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda 1950 Clarity

When the elegance of the Tonda 1950 combines with the charm of a fully stone-set dial...

The Tonda 1950 embodies the very essence of the Parmigiani Fleurier style, with its streamlined profile and harmonious forms. In conceiving its new creation, the Manufacture's aim was to underscore this absolute elegance. The result is a luxuous full stone-set model, available with a 39mm pink or white gold case.

Five different sizes were chosen for the round diamonds that adorn the dial. Their dimensions and position are the result of meticulous calculation, with the smallest at the centre, followed by larger ones, and more smaller ones outside bordering the indices. There is no sense of repetition, nor of an artificial or soulless setting. Instead, each diamond plays its part in a spectacular ensemble, in which the dial appears domed thanks to a beguiling trompe l’œil effect. The stones shimmer in a unique, almost violent way, such is the brilliance of the light reflected from them.
620 diamonds (totalling 2.495 carats) were used to decorate the dial, and 84 (totalling 0.6460 carats) for the bezel.

The watch houses the PF701 automatic movement, powering the hours and minutes, with 42 hours of power reserve.

The Tonda 1950 Clarity with rose gold case is available with a bracelet with links of the same metal, for a highly sophisticated ensemble. The white gold version is paired with a very on-trend mother of pearl calfskin strap from its collection, to create the perfect cool chic look thanks to its subtle gloss.
