The 2020 Monaco is dressed in steel.

Monaco is an iconic TAG Heuer collection. In fact, 2019 marked the half-century of these models, celebrated with special editions initiating a new chapter in the history of this line.

Coinciding with the brand’s 160th anniversary, 2020 is therefore also synonymous with renewal for the Monaco models, which have been given an update with metal bracelets. In a nod to the first models from the early 1970s, the links are not only H-shaped, but the bracelet is also wider at the lugs (to support the case) before gradually tapering towards the butterfly clasp. It has however been redesigned to meet today’s standards with larger links, as well as ensuring improved wearer comfort.

The contrast between the colored dial (black or blue) and the white counters, as well as the famous red chronograph seconds hand, ensure optimal readability. No wonder Steve McQueen wore a Monaco model during his races.

Issued in polished and brushed steel, this collector’s timepiece with a design that will appeal to aesthetes is also available in a full-black leather version.
