Matterhorn, also called Cervino in Italian, is a mythical summit that represents the link between Italy and Switzerland, two cultures which constitute the spirit of Anonimo. The Militare Alpini Series is a tribute to this summit, and to the 4th regiment of the Italian Alpine troops, the "Alpini", which aim it is to protect the frontiers and to keep peace at the same time.
Inspired by the uniform of the Alpini which is white in winter and khaki in summer, Anonimo has conceived two versions of the new model: a white and khaki version, with a stainless case back engraved with the profile of the Matterhorn.
The Militare Alpini model is an evolution of the Militare Classic : its «sandwich» case design gives the watch a thinner and better contoured case profi le. The uncluttered dial makes for optimum readability. The strap fastening system at 12 o’clock has been modified for improved durability. The patented moving lug mechanism has been retained, providing easy access to the crown with a single click and guaranteeing the water resistance of the case.
This special series Militare Alpini is only mounted on bronze cases, and comprises IRM (with power reserve indicator) and chronograph models. 97 timepieces by reference will be produced.
