Backes & Strauss sponsored the Eton Team who are shown here winning The Princes' Cup last Friday 18th March at the third British Polo Day, held at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club. Polo playing Princes William & Harry are the most well known Eton players. This luxury watch brand was also the official timekeeper at this most prestigious sporting and social event celebrating British heritage & the sport of Kings.
The day became a celebration of the best of British culture and fashion. The glamorous and sophisticated crowd included an eclectic mix of high profile guests from HRH Prince Rashid bin El Hassan of Jordan (who played for both Harrow & the Cavalry & Guards teams) to the American rapper & singer Flo Rida. All had the opportunity to view the specially selected pieces from the Backes & Strauss Collections, Berkeley, Piccadilly & Regent.
