On Thursday 29th October Breguet hosted a special evening with the Antiquarian Horological Society, exploring the history of Breguet timepieces in the London boutique.
VIP clients and members of the AHS were honoured to hear from two guest speakers considered some of the most knowledgeable watch specialists in the industry, Andrew Crisford (author of Abraham-Louis Breguet, Master Watchmaker and Master Marketer) and Jonathan Betts (Vice-President of the AHS Society).
Guests were able to view special antique Breguet pieces from private collections alongside modern day masterpieces. On display were also certificates written by A.-L. Breguet in the early 1800s which were produced as part of an anti-counterfeiting strategy listing the weight of the timepiece.
