The award ceremony was held on February 7, 2015 in Madrid at the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España. Cuervo y Sobrinos' representatives at the ceremony were Mrs Maria Cristina and Chairman Mr Marzio Villa.
Spanish actor and comedian Dani Rovira, Cuervo y Sobrinos' ambassador at the gala, was the winner of the Award for Best New Actor in the film 'Ocho Apellidos Vascos' directed by Emilio Martínez-Lázaro. Dani Rovira hosted the ceremony wearing the Cuervo y Sobrinos Historiador Retrogrado.
The 2015 Honorary Goya Award went to great actor and director Antonio Banderas. Among the major awards of this edition, 'Marshland' received the Award for Best Film, director Alberto Rodríguez was awarded Best Director, and Javier Gutiérrez and Bárbara Lennie were respectively Best Actor and Best Actress.
