Editorial Summer is Finally Here!
Here is how we will celebrate its arrival
Last Tuesday was the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere (due to the sun being in the highest position in the sky). Also called the summer solstice, June 21st marks the official start of summer. Translation for the masses: it's time to bust out our bathing suits! Of course, we could have announced the occasion with a selection of diving watches, colorful watches, or even watches with multiple time zones for your travels, but at WorldTempus, we like to do things a bit differently. So, we have put together a very special summer project for you to get in the mood for your holidays. The WorldTempus office, together with some creatives from Diode Studio, will shortly be moving the whole editorial office to an exotic location for some super cool summer content.

Now, we could have joined the crowds at England’s Stonehenge to witness the sun rise above the famous Heel Stone. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, dating back to 3,500 - 5,000 years, would have been a fitting location to celebrate the arrival of summer, but as the English weather is famously non-summery, we have decided to wait to the month of July and head south to bring you all your favourite watch news directly from the beach.

Even if it sounds a bit like an excuse for a holiday, we can ensure you that we be working very hard for you. Where are we going? It’s a secret for now, but what we can tell you is that it is going to be very eclectic in terms of watches, with about 10 different brands. From Maurice Lacroix to HYT and Ralph Lauren, there will be something for everyone. Let’s not also forget Bovet 1822, Bulgari, Carl F. Bucherer, De Bethune, Doxa, Montblanc, Omega, and more. We will be producing photos, videos, interviews, and team tests to name just a few of the different formats that we will be using to bring you rich and interesting summer content. Add a mythical setting, sand, water, boats, etc., and the result will hopefully exceed your expectations.

We hope you are as excited as much as we are! To make sure that you don’t miss the fun, and to get a glimpse of some behind-the-scenes shots of our antics on location, why not follow us on our social media networks – @worldtempus – so you don’t miss a trick. In the meantime, we have some packing to do, so stay tuned for more! We set off on July 18th.
