For the third consecutive year, Longines was Official Partner and Timekeeper of the „Longines Grand Prix“ of Crans-Montana which, this year again, gathered world-class riders. This year’s edition was highlighted by the victory of Wouter Devos (BEL) and his Tonik Hero. He was followed by Nicolas Deseuzes (FRA) with Quilane de Lezeaux on the second and Niklaus Rutschi (SUI) with Carassina on the third place. The winner received an elegant Longines watch from Juan-Carlos Capelli, Longines Vice President and Head of International Marketing.

The watch brand took the occasion to support JustWorld International through the Clear The Jump action. Each time a rider and his horse cross the Longines triple obstacle clear, the equivalent of 200 meals was offered to the association, which aims to lift children out of poverty. Thanks to this campaign, Longines has helped to offer 5000 meals for the benefit of the JustWorld International Foundation.

The Official Watch of this year’s Jumping Longines of Crans-Montana was an elegant model from the Record collection. Every single model is certified as a “chronometer” by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
The brand's involvement in equestrian sports dates back to 1878 when it produced a chronograph engraved with a jockey and his horse. In addition, the Swiss watch brand has been partnering with show jumping events since 1912. Today, Longines' commitment to equestrian sports includes - besides show-jumping - flat-racing, eventing, endurance, dressage and driving competitions.
