Maurice Lacroix welcomes the world-famous triathlete Javier Gómez Noya to its circle of friends. Despite being from different domains, these talented individuals share the same vision: to surpass their goals.
"I give my best in training everyday," explains Javier. "But just like any job, I have good days and bad days. My determination has paid off and has allowed me to go beyond my limits." Javier Gómez Noya is no stranger to success. Nine-time world champion, the Spaniard, born in Basel, Switzerland, has been honing his skills since the age of 15 and has enjoyed remarkable success. An innate talent for sport? Maybe, but it is his motivation, courage and adventurous spirit that has led Javier to the heights of success.
The athlete’s closest friend: The time he strives to beat. "In my professional role, time defines my performance," says Javier. "In my private life, time is something I share with loved ones."
When discussing the tempo of a watch, Javier remembers a time that predates his athletics career. "For my father, wearing his watch was a source of pride; he wore a Maurice Lacroix!" explains Javier.
