The Spindrift team crossed the start line that runs from Créac’h lighthouse (Ushuant island, France) to Lizard Point (England) on Sunday, November 22th, at 4:01:58 GMT, in an attempt to circumnavigate the globe in less than 45 days, 13 hours, 42 minutes and 53 seconds! The existing record of the Jules Verne Trophy was set in 2012 by the Banque Populaire V trimaran skippered by Loick Peyron.
