The 47-year-old is currently Director of International Sales & Marketing, and will take over responsibility for the company's overall operations in April. Before his current post, Wechsler was international sales director and a member of the Board at Eterna SA. He has considerable experience in the management of Swiss subsidiaries in the consumer goods and luxury goods sectors in Germany, the US, the UK, Tunisia and East Africa. He has a deep understanding of the watch and jewellery industry with an impressive track record in the implementation of sales and marketing strategies with revenue and budget targets, as well as proven leadership experience.
Wechsler is married and has three children. His hobbies include skiing, tennis and badminton, as well as travelling, wine and cars.
With the appointment of Wechsler, Jaermann & Stübi has gained an innovative CEO with international experience and a conceptual approach, and more than 10 years of experience in the watch industry in management positions.
