Profile of Reuge's CEO.
Kurt Kupper, CEO of luxury music box manufacturer Reuge, holds Swiss federal diplomas in sales and marketing, and an MBA from the University of New York. He began his career with shopfitting company Umdasch before moving to Feldschlösschen brewery as chairman of its American division.
His watchmaking journey began with Hublot in 1989, when he became director general of its American subsidiary. From 1990 to 1992 he spent some time with Binda (watch manufacture and distribution) before being tempted back to Hublot, where he was COO from 1993 to 2005. Kurt Kupper left to join the management of a Geneva-based company specialising in watch and jewellery distribution in the African market. He took over as CEO of Reuge in 2006.
