Grande Seconde Ceramic Clous de Paris - Jaquet Droz
These new versions, two black and one white, offer a contemporary interpretation of the Grande Seconde collection.

The figure 8, symbol of Jaquet Droz, is revisited by the three new models - two Grande Seconde and a Grande Seconde Power Reserve - in a combination of Roman and Arabic numerals, and accentuated by a dial featuring a “clous de Paris” motif. Traditionnaly found on classic-style watches, this type of guilloché work is brought to the forefront for a richly textured dial, which lends the timepiece a unique sense of character.

The ceramic that makes up the 44mm case and dial counter is incredibly resistant and practically scratch proof. Moreover, its luster and color will not tarnish with years.

The Grande Seconde models house the manual-winding Jaquet Droz 2663A-S Calibre, beating at 28'800 vph et offering a 68-hour power reserve.

The Grande Seconde Power Reserve Black Ceramic model displays this feature via a golden-color scale matching the 18K red gold hours, minutes and seconds hands. The latter’s sparkle is beautifully enhanced by the contrasting black or white dial and red gold screws and crown, in the case of the white version.

The fabric strap, bringing to mind the “clous de Paris” motif, is secured with a folding clasp in ceramic and black PVD-treated stainless steel, or  with a 18-karat red gold ardillon buckle for the white model.

Each model is limited to 28 pieces, with the individual serial number engraved on the case-back.
