To celebrate the dead, to get scared to death, or on any given Tuesday, Jack Skellington, Freddy, Jason, Elvira, Gomez Adams and the Shining all shop at the M.A.D. Gallery. A fusion of an art gallery, a watch boutique, a talent agency and a curiosa shop, this retail branch of MB&F is specialized in things that will scare the bejesus out of you.
A big fat spider with gigantic legs creeping on a wall ? They got one. A pink poisonous jellyfish hanging from the ceiling ? It's there.
A freaky robot with a sadistic smile that can crush a Terminator's soul ? They did several actually. A metal dinosaur, without a head and with a paunch that would make Bob Razowski envious ? Been there, done that.
A cathode tube clock that's counting down to a nuclear explosion on the desk of a James Bond villain ? Second alley to your right. And every single one of those disquieting things tell time !
You want proof they're deranged ? They made a mean panda. A panda ! That big fat ball of fur, munching bamboo shoots all day long, lying on the floor like a slob, has been turned into a timepiece with nasty, pointy teeth. Can you believe that ?
Was it Max Büsser's evil intent? The founder and CEO of MB&F is a man of many inspirations. And weirdo stuff and oddities seem to be among them. He managed to gather a whole collection of spooky creations that will keep you awake at night. Wacky Horological Machines, insane clocks made with L'Epée, upsetting curiosa, at the crossroads of all three universes, the M.A.D. Gallery has managed to become a spooky haunt.
