The Perrelet Shock: Two Rotors to Rule Time
At the end of the 18th century, Abraham-Louis Perrelet revolutionized watchmaking by inventing the automatic watch, harnessing the wearer’s motion to power the mechanism. In 1995, the maison refined this concept with the Double Rotor, featuring two oscillating masses for faster, more efficient, and visually captivating winding. In 2025, this innovation takes on a jewelled expression through two exceptional timepieces: Cléopâtre and Joséphine. Blending mechanics and artistry, they unite diamonds, mother-of-pearl, and titanium in a tribute to two legendary women, symbols of elegance and strength, transforming motion’s energy into a true horological masterpiece.

On October 27, 2025, two pillars of the watch world, Chopard and GMT Publishing, came together to celebrate 25 years of shared passion for time and craftsmanship. To mark the occasion, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele and Brice Lechevalier unveiled an exclusive collaboration: the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control “GMT 25th Anniversary”, limited to just 25 pieces, making it the rarest edition ever created. Engraved with “BMC” and “Watch Safari”, this timepiece in sustainably crafted Lucent Steel features a sand-beige dial and a COSC-certified movement, a true tribute to friendship, precision, and horological passion.
Born in 1987 under the creative direction of Jacques Helleu, the Première watch marked Chanel’s entry into the world of watchmaking. Inspired by the House’s iconic codes, a black lacquered dial, an octagonal case echoing the N°5 perfume bottle stopper, and a chain bracelet interlaced with leather reminiscent of the quilted handbag, it quickly became a style icon. In 2025, Chanel reinvents this classic with the Première Galon, featuring a rigid 18K yellow gold bracelet twisted like a couture braid, merging jewelry craftsmanship with couture spirit. Offered in three versions, including one set with 682 diamonds, this watch-jewel embodies Chanel’s timeless philosophy: to transcend time with style.

Through meticulous adjustments, technical exchanges, and tributes to its heritage, ZENITH demonstrates that its mechanical legacy continues to shape the future, already hinting at upcoming innovations such as the 0G and chain-fusée movements.
Primordial Passion by Pirro Jewellery – An Ode to the Red Carpet
A unique creation by Ruço Pirro, the Primordial Passion blurs the boundaries between watchmaking, sculpture, and performing art. Its dial, a micro-mosaic of 1,500 Murano glass rectangles, displays deep red and black tones accentuated with threads of gold, symbols of passion and prestige. Surrounding it, sixteen miniature figures, twelve Albanian dancers and four musicians, are hand-sculpted and engraved, capturing the grace and emotion of movement. Powered by a calibre developed by Agenhor, this masterpiece pays tribute to dance, culture, and fine watchmaking alike. A true jewel of the stage, Primordial Passion was born to shine on red carpets around the world.
