The brand once again succeeds in marrying artistic creativity and watchmaking excellence, which have become distinctive traits of the young manufacture.
When it launched at Watches and Wonders in 2024, the first Promenade Goutte d’Eau series, in its royal blue livery, was completely sold out due to the striking and attractive wave effect achieved on the water's surface. This year, Czapek revisits the formula, enhancing it with white diamonds and blue sapphires radiating from the impact point at the center of the off-centered small seconds subdial at 4:30.
Artistic Creativity
Thanks to the artisanal technique of snow setting, the dial is adorned with 360 white diamonds and 319 sapphires of multiple blue shades and various sizes, resulting in an impressive — almost natural — rendering of uninterrupted ripples speckled with small blue droplets. An extremely meticulous work that requires no less than six days to accomplish. A perfect expression of the brand's creativity and the excellence of Swiss artisans from AB products, partners in this exceptional creation. An additional two days are also dedicated to setting the bezel, flange, and crown to further enhance the harmony of this Promenade Diamond Drops.
Watchmaking Excellence
This technical and stylistic feat is perfectly in line with the brand’s foundations, which, since its rebirth in 2015, have never ceased to aim for beauty. This quest for beauty elevates the watchmaking quality underpinning Czapek. Thus, the now famous and highly appreciated SXH5.1 in-house caliber animates this timepiece. Its structure with seven beveled bridges, finely micro-beaded, polished inward angles, and a micro-rotor in recycled platinum are all marks of respect for the purest tradition of haute horlogerie, dear to the brand's original founder and a compass for the brand since its relaunch. The watch is not just a piece of jewelry that could be powered by quartz or a basic automatic movement. Above all, it is a true watch reflecting the brand's watchmaking philosophy.
A Rare Timepiece
In its sleek 38mm case of 18-carat white gold, this edition, limited to only 10 pieces, is aimed at enthusiasts of horological pieces with strong character and unique jewel-like beauty that does not compromise on precision watchmaking, as evidenced by the stop-second mechanism of the integrated automatic caliber for ultra-precise regulation. A timepiece for discerning and astute collectors, men or women in search of bold style and confirmed Swiss haute horlogerie — as its slogan reminds us, "We collect Rare People."
