Two decades after its introduction, the Big Bang still perfectly embodies Hublot’s identity. With its signature bezel featuring visible screws, bold contrasts of materials, and strong presence on the wrist, the collection has defined the brand’s aesthetic codes since 2005. For Watches & Wonders 2026, Hublot returns to these fundamentals—not to transform them, but to refresh and enhance them. This new phase is aptly called Big Bang Reloaded.
This evolution begins with the movement. Since its debut in 2010, the Unico family has powered the entire Big Bang range. In this Reloaded generation, the objective is to showcase its mechanical qualities more clearly. The HUB1280 Unico remains an in-house integrated flyback chronograph, featuring a column wheel visible on the dial side and offering a 72-hour power reserve. Hublot highlights several key elements, including the double oscillating clutch, a constant-pressure friction system for the minute counter, a zero-friction ratchet stopper, and a fine adjustment mechanism for the balance. In essence, Reloaded places mechanics firmly back at center stage.
This focus is immediately apparent on the dial. The colored column wheel at 6 o’clock and the visible double oscillating clutch at 8 o’clock draw attention to the chronograph’s essential components. The 3 o’clock counter has been redesigned, the date repositioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, and subtle color accents emphasize the flyback function. On the reverse side, the same philosophy continues with an openworked oscillating weight featuring a cut-out “H” and the inscription “Hublot. Design. Manufacture. Nyon,” allowing a clearer view of the balance, barrel, and gear train.
The Big Bang Reloaded is available in five versions. The Magic Gold edition celebrates the 15th anniversary of this scratch-resistant 18-carat gold, developed in partnership with EPFL and produced in-house in Nyon. Three ceramic models follow: an All Black version and two others in blue and dark green, demonstrating Hublot’s expertise in colored ceramics. The fifth version combines titanium and black ceramic for a sportier aesthetic.
This same platform also gives rise to two ambassador editions. With the Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé, Hublot reinterprets its concept in white ceramic and King Gold, in a limited edition of 200 pieces designed to reflect the player’s image.
A similar approach is seen in the Big Bang Reloaded Usain Bolt, also limited to 200 pieces, which incorporates personal references such as a lightning bolt-shaped chronograph hand and a case back featuring a sample of soil from the Jamaican sprinter’s training track.
These two interpretations highlight how Hublot uses the Reloaded as a versatile platform, capable of supporting strong storytelling while maintaining design coherence.
After this initial focus on the core collection, Hublot continues its series of releases with the Spirit of Big Bang Moonphase Impact. Offered in three versions, it adapts the “Impact” design into the 42 mm tonneau-shaped case of the Spirit of Big Bang, powered by the skeletonized automatic HUB1770 movement, and featuring a large date at 1 o’clock and a moon phase display at 6 o’clock.
The most striking version is the Sapphire Jewellery edition, limited to 20 pieces. Here, Hublot introduces a first for the brand, setting diamonds directly into a sapphire case. In this version, 145 fancy-cut diamonds extend the dial’s pattern onto the bezel. The two other variations—one in sapphire with osmium, the other in All Black ceramic—complete the lineup.
Continuing in a high jewellery vein, Hublot also unveils a statement piece: the Big Bang Tourbillon Impact High Jewellery One Million. This 45 mm white gold watch features a central flying tourbillon powered by the manually wound HUB9015 calibre, offering a 120-hour power reserve.
Around it, nearly 500 diamonds totaling approximately 44.6 carats form a vortex-like structure, alternating between baguette and fancy cuts. With this One Million edition, Hublot extends a long-standing tradition in high jewellery, from the One Million $ Big Bang in 2007 to some of its most spectacular creations, including the Black Caviar Bang, the Big Bang Unico Haute Joaillerie collection, and the $3 million Big Bang Tourbillon.
With this series of new releases, Hublot reaffirms that the Big Bang remains a complete platform for expression, capable of combining technical expertise, material innovation, and collaborations with highly distinctive ambassadors.
