The Militare Alpini collection draws its inspiration from two elements: The Matterhorn, this mythical mountain, with a summit of 4.478 metres shows its sharp ridges on one slope in Italy and the other one in Switzerland, just as Anonimo does, and the 4th regiment of the Italian Alpini corps. The Alpini is an elite corps that must stand up to the highest physical and technical requirements. Our designers had those same requirements in mind when redesigning the new Militare case.
The construction of Militare Alpini is an evolution of Militare Classics: the sandwich construction allows a reduced thickness of the case. The uncluttered dial ensures optimal legibility. The attachment strap system at 12 o’clock has been modified for a better resistance. The distinctive crown, protected between the side contacts of the case that can be very easily accessed via the adjustable hinges is still preserved. The patented system guarantees the water resistance of the case by simply closing it with one click.
The Militare Alpini Chrono is presented in a 43 mm diameter bronze case. The watch is powered by a Selita SW 3000 movement with a special Dubois-Dépraz 2035T chronograph module.
Inspired by the uniform of the Alpini which is white in winter and khaki in summer, two versions are available: a white and khaki version, with a stainless case back engraved with the profile of the Matterhorn. This sporty and robust model expresses the highest physical and technical requirements to which the Alpine elite corps have to conform during their missions.
