Sealiner Regata
Continuing its quest for performance in the world of yacht racing, Cvstos unveils the Sealiner Regata, a chronograph meant to accompagny navigators and skippers in their various “Match Racing” challenges.
On the Sealiner Regata Automatic watch, the elapsing time is read on a three- dimensional skeleton dial. At 12 o’clock, is the countdown indicator shaped as sail’s pulleys. In 3 colours, it is defining a cycle of five minutes per area, preceding the start of the Regatta. At 3 o’clock are placed - in addition to the usual counters - the power reserve indicator and the date window. The second chronograph linear hand at the centre, tinged with red, indicates the last 5 seconds remaining until the “spi” (mainsail) is lowered before the gun fire is starting the regatta.
The new Sealiner Regata is powered by the automatic calibre Cvstos CVS 577. The transparency of the dial, as well as the open bottom, offer a remarkable visibility on the mechanism of this movement. On the edges of the case, at 9 o’clock, 2 porthole-shaped openings invite the eye to dive into the heart of the watch.
Inspired directly by nautical codes, the Sealiner Regata features a a safety crown screwed to the case in the shape of a winch of tension for the sails and push button in grade 5 titanium recalling the mooring cleats.
Sealiner GMT Automatic
In the continuation of the « Sealiner Automatic » model, Cvstos, increases the eponymous line with a watch featuring a GMT function.
The Sealiner GMT, distinguishes itself as a true inheritor of the aesthetic and technical codes of the famous models « Tourbillon-S Yachtclubing » et « Sealiner Automatic », both characterized by a touch of creativity and novelty of which Cvstos is a guarantee. Thereby the brand binds the same objectives by creating a new three- dimensional calibre, the «CVS-6511GMT »: At 12 o’clock the big date changes instantaniously with 2 blue PVD metalic discs animated by overlaying them with the calibre. A jumping 2nd time fuse can be found at 6 o’clock along with the indication of day/nigh corroborated by the 24 hours division indicated in small window. At the centre is placed the hour, minute and seconds hands, stylized in an elliptic shape specific to the Sealiner line. All the functions are adjustable at any time via the crown.
Water-resistant to 100 meters, the Sealiner Regata Automatic and the Sealiner GMT Automatic are presented in a tonneau-shaped case, carved in 5N gold, steel, blue PVD steel or diamond set. Both wacthes are fitted with a blue, white or red caoutchouc bracelet.
