The design of a new case inspired by the original Klepcys has been reworked with regard to both proportions and slimness. Balance is the very core of this product. To ensure that the balance of the piece remains identical from one complication to the next, all functions are operated by the crowns.
While picking up the aesthetic codes of the case, the buckle features an original touch originality further enhancing the pleasure of wearing a Cyrus timepiece. First, the dual blade system allows the wearer to put on and remove the watch simply using two fingers. The originality lies in the fine adjustment system requiring no additional tools and ensuring a perfectly snug fit on the wrist. Finally, the adjustment section that fits neatly the underside of the wrist serves to maintain the visual balance once it is closed.

This philosophy sums up the entire thought process behind the development of the strap, whose finishes and shapes setting a perfect final touch to the case, while the flexibility of the rubber ensures increased wearer enjoyment. Cyrus has opted to play on different finishes designed to maximise this essential feeling of perceived quality and well-made products.
The most conventional display for any chronograph features the hours/minutes in the centre and counters located at 3, 6 and/or 9 o’clock. Cyrus opts for originality as it destructures the dial by offsetting the hours and minutes to 3 o’clock.
Meanwhile, the chronograph counters are placed on either side of the 3 o’clock subdial, forming a ‘time analysis lab’ spread from 12 to 6 o’clock. At 9 o’clock, the date providing an open one-‐quarter view the disc serves to emphasize Cyrus’ identity with its clean-cut shapes tapering towards the hour and minute counters.
The brand has added additional improvements by shifting the start/stop and reset functions to the crowns. This means users no longer need to move their fingers from one pushpiece to the other, thus ensuring significantly increased measurement accuracy.
More than just a collector’s item, or object of desire, a timepiece must by its very definition enable simple, easy reading of the time. The new codes of the Cyrus hands play to perfection on the satin-finished/beadblasted contrast which echoes the case finishes. The dial also vividly embodies Da Vinci’s adage. The colours and fonts selected present a cohesive whole in harmony with the easy readability that is a trademark of Cyrus timepieces.
