This year, the Arceau Manufacture line welcomes a gem-set version of the Arceau Petite Lune.

When designer Henri d’Origny created the Arceau watch in 1978, he took his inspiration from the world of saddlery, and more particularly from a part of the stirrup.

One of the Arceau collections 2015 new models is the Arceau Petite Lune with diamonds.
Its 38 mm stainless steel case, water resistant to 30 m, and set with 60 diamonds, opens on a natural white mother-of-pearl dial. The moon phase is offered against a blue backdrop and a rhodiumed décor between 10 and 11 o’clock, while the date appears at 6 o’clock through a mother-of-pearl aperture. The transferred numerals retain the classic font of the original model: a gentle slope that follows the movement of the hands and appears to keep just ahead of time.

The functions of the timepieces are powered by the self-winding Hermès H1837 movement, offering a 50-hour power reserve, and completed with a Dubois-Dépraz « small moon » module.

The watch is teamed with an interchangeable alligator strap available in several colours - ultraviolet, cloud white, indigo, red agate, ember, ficelle, storm blue or black - and crafted in the in-house workshops using the saddle-stitching technique.
