IWC Schaffhausen Aquatimer Los Roques

Among the IWC collections, the Aquatimer family is the one that reflects the greatest technical advances in water and pressure resistance.

Originally created in 1967, its introduction to market generated large expectations , due mainly to its advanced and simple design as well as its capacity to resist immersions up to 20 bar or 200 meters.  Notable technical improvements, in construction as well as in materials such as steel alloys and isolation polymers, have taken the initial resistance to an amazing 200 bar or 2,000 meters in the latest IWC Aquatimer iterations.In 2017, IWC introduces in association with its Venezuelan authorized dealer, Joyeria Gerais, the IWC Aquatimer Los Roques with specific decoration and finish codes related to the beautiful coral Caribbean archipelago of Los Roques, in front of the Venezuelan coast. Its case of 46 mm is in polished and satin finished titanium with a matt black dial with SuperLuminova in attractive blue luminescence. In Aquatimer fashion, a window at three indicates the date of the month while strong baton hands indicate hour and minutes with central seconds. The IWC Aquatimer Los Roques employs the vaunted IWC SafeDive technology in order to allow regulation of the internal dive disc via the unidirectional external bezel even when wearing diving gloves. A rubber wristband is provided with the watch, however, the IWC Aquatimer Los Roques employs a  simple mechanism to allow changes of different wrist bands as required by the owner.  The back of the watch, in solid titanium, has a design that evoques the rich fauna and flora of the tropical environment of the largest coral atoll in the world at Los Roques and protects a manufacture caliber IWC 80110 entirely designed and built at Schaffhausen by IWC master watchmakers. Limited to only 50 pieces, the IWC Aquatimer Los Roques is capable of withstanding immersions up to 2,000 meters without any effect on its integrity.
