Jacob & Co. Astronomia Metaverso

The all-new, ground-breaking Astronomia Metaverso NFT collection is a unique initiative in watchmaking

Based on the Astronomia collection design, it comprises eight distinct versions, representing each of the solar system's planet, in a combinaision of digital and physical versions. Each timepiece was designed by Jacob Arabo to be his individual artistic interpretation of a planet. The 44 mm timepieces are executed in various materials, ranging from black DLC titanium to rose gold, and all feature a fixed Astronomia movement with a 2 ct, Jacob-cut rotating gemstone and a flying tourbillon.

Each Astronomia Metaverso timepiece relies on a component that didn't exist so far in the Astronomia collection, the dome. A hollowed-out half-sphere, it's in charge of replicating the appearance of each planet from inside the Astronomia case.

Its level of openworking and elaborate choice of gems create the personality of each version. Once again, Jacob & Co. is using gold, sapphires, diamonds and rubies like a painter uses brush and paint.
