The Grande Second unveils its mechanical choreography for the very first time with a skeleton version featuring a new transparent aesthetic.
Jaquet Droz created an unprecedented version of its Grande Seconde. Even if the figure “8” shape is preserved, the traditional Grand Feu enamel dial has been replaced with a sapphire dial integrated within a skeleton composition. This new transparent aesthetic marks a stylistic turning point in the brand’s history and celebrates the brand's 280th anniversary. The oscillating weight in gold and the plate has been openworked and the hour ring is in sapphire.
This new timepiece unveiled at Baselworld 2018 is available in red gold, white gold and ceramic.
