Celtic Dog - Kerbedanz
The new Celtic Dog watch from Kerbedanz is inspired by Celtic mythology.

Tigran Kerbedanz, founder and president of Kerbedanz, chose this name in honor of his ancestor. "Kerbedanz" has a double meaning and signifies leader and precursor and is in the origin of the surname. These two qualifiers are perfectly suitable for Kerbedanz: precursor in the concept and values attached to the product, but also a leader in the sense that its models, unique or in very limited editions, evoke universes which are unexplored by traditional watchmaking.

Kerbedanz gave to this watch, the symbolic figure of Celtic Dog. The dog, that was highly valued by the ancient Celts as both hunter and warrior was also regarded as the messenger of the Hereafter and was associated with the moon.

The Celtic Dog comes in a 43 mm white gold case. On the dial made from solid white gold in three-layers and blue enameled, are depicted the reliefs of Celtic Dog topped with an applied in white gold set in the form of Celtic Dog surrounded by La Tène style interlacing. The case as well as the dial are designed, manufactured and hand decorated by Kerbedanz.

The Celtic Dog is fitted with an alligator mississippiensis leather strap equipped with a white gold folding clasp with a special Kerbedanz design.

The watch is a limited edition of 41 pieces. A complete book on Celtic Dog’s symbols and legends is offered with it.
