The stickers from hotels and travel companies were originally glued to travellers’ trunks. They symbolised the art of travel and made each piece of luggage unique.
Today they can be found on the dial and strap of this brand-new Tambour model. Driven by a quartz movement, this steel timepiece is available in four diameters, 28, 34, 39.5 and 41.5 mm. The dials of the Tambour World Tour models were developed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton and feature an exact reproduction of two of the brand’s iconic canvases, the Monogram canvas and the Damier Graphite motif. These four models have interchangeable straps fitted with Louis Vuitton’s patented system that does not require the use of tools.
You can also discover the World Tour concept on a miniature steel clock with a Damier Cobalt dial and stickers, protected by a sapphire crystal sphere. In a further tribute to the theme of travel, it is fitted with a GMT function for a second time zone, displayed with a rocket-shaped hand.
