Chinese New Year

We kicked off the week with a great piece by our Editor-in-Chief Suzanne Wong on the Chinese Calendar at Blancpain. This mathematical marvel of measurement is just Suzanne’s cup of tea! But don’t worry if you get lost in the technical details, she also provides us with a selection of stunning timepieces to mark the Year of the Tiger

Watches and Wonders is Going Ahead

We had been waiting for this news for a while now. The big announcement of the week was that Watches and Wonders is not only going ahead – March 30th to April 5th – but it will be both physical and digital. This is great news for us at WorldTempus as we are here in Geneva, at the heart of the action. We have already signed up for all the “touch and feel” sessions so we can bring you all the news direct from the source.

Ferdinand Berthoud unveils its new FB RSM, which we just love and will be coming back to shortly. From Jacob & Co. two new pieces are out this week: The Bugatti Chiron Blue Sapphire Crystal with its unique piston-animation movement and the Astronomia Tourbillon. Omega reveals its new Constellation 41 and aventurine collection that comes out in perfect timing for Valentine’s Day, and also in perfect timing, but this time for the lunar year, is the Ulysse Nardin Blast Moonstruck. TAG Heuer presents a new Formula 1 Red Bull Racing Special Edition and we finish off the week with this Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet, a rather lovely perpetual calendar in white gold.
