About me

I started my professional life as a lawyer, but like every lawyer I've ever met, my first goal was quickly to escape the hell of billable hours. After years of preparing for this escape, I fled New York and moved to Paris. I went back to school to study art history and soon became the art editor of the International New York Times (then the IHT). I also ventured into luxury goods and discovered that watches were fertile ground for my reporting. Since 2007, I have been a regular contributor to the 'Watch Reports' and 'Art of Collecting' pages of the International New York Times.
