Montblanc Bohème Manufacture Perpetual Calendar

The complications and the manufacture movement of this timepiece will appeal to all female lovers of fine watchmaking.

Montblanc unveils the new models of its Bohème ladies's line which includes a perpetual calendar, a complete calendar, and day/night models. We are presenting today the Bohème Manufacture Perpetual Calendar watch.

The Bohème timepieces feature polished cases with slightly curved and faceted horns, sculpted onion crowns and bezels set with sparkling diamonds. The dials are crafted with traditional decorative techniques, such as guilloché and gem-setting, and include leaf-shaped hands, floral Arabic numerals, minute scales with raised dots and internal hour rings, all enhancing the refinement of each model.

The new Bohème Manufacture Perpetual Calendar houses a brand-new in-house perpetual calendar, the calibre MB 29.22, that indicates the hours, minutes, day, date, month, moon phase and leap year thanks to its large counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. This automatic movement, offering a 48-hour power reserve, is also equipped with a very practical dual-time function and a 24-hour indicator at 9 0'clock. The movement took three years to develop and is composed solely of wheels, in contrast to most perpetual calendars that use levers. This enables the user to adjust the watch via the crown in both directions, making it far simpler to set.

In addition to this, another new safety feature developed by the Montblanc movement engineers prevents the user from setting the watch between the hours of 8 pm and 12 pm, when any manipulation could damage the movement as the correctors are locked.

The Bohème Manufacture Perpetual Calendar is available a new 38 mm case set with 58 diamonds and comes in a choice of steel or red gold. The guilloché silvery white dial features black Arabic numerals. The watch is certified by the Montblanc Laboratory Test 500. The gold version is limited to 100 pieces.
