It is “WorldTempus on Tour” time and our editorial team has relocated to the Scottish Highlands to create content like you have never seen before

The WorldTempus on Tour concept started after Covid, after our team had been apart – on and off – for months on end. The idea was to take all our journalists, photographers, and videographers, along with a case full of the latest watches, and relocate to a foreign location for a week, with a view to join creative forces to produce a different kind of lifestyle content.

After two years and four editions, our publisher still thinks it is an excuse for a holiday! In reality, it is 16-hour, grueling days crammed full of collective creative reflection, technical experimentation, location scouting, watch testing in the harshest conditions, and arguing over who stole the adaptors, but there is jolly good fun as we can all work together with some of the finest timepieces on the market today.

Brands such as Bovet, Bulgari, Chopard, Cyrus, Glashütte Original, HYT, Leica, Maurice Lacroix, Ralf Tech, Ralph Lauren, and Schwarz-Etienne have all entrusted us with testing their watches, resulting in some incredible adventures that you can find on our YouTube channel. To date, we have created content from a beach-side villa in Saint-Tropez, a boutique hotel in Zermatt, and a yacht in the Aegean Sea, and for this latest edition, we are staying in a Scottish castle in the Cairngorms National Park.

Over the next few days, we are going to be whisky tasting, treasure hunting, Munro bagging (more about this later), learning about tartan and the tradition of kilt-making, and discovering wildlife in the Highlands. All this, while testing some of the latest timepieces including Chopard’s Alpine Eagle and L.U.C XPS models, Glashütte Original’s SeaQ and Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase, Leica’s ZM 11, and Kross Studio’s Game of Thrones Rhaegal Central Floating Tourbillon.

The weather forecast is predicting snow and our community manager is convinced the castle is haunted, so it is going to be an interesting week! Join us here on WorldTempus.com and Instagram – @worldtempus – if you want to see follow events in real time and discover these incredible pieces.

Special thanks go to Diode Studio and U.K. photographer Andy Barnham for accepting to join us on this horological Scottish challenge.
