Heading up the team are the Piaget brand ambassadors, ten goal Pieres brothers - Facundo and Gonzalito - backed up by the young English professional Hugo Lewis and Thailand patron Top Srivaddhanaprabha’s.
Facing tough opposition from fellow ten goaler Pablo MacDonough and the rest of team UAE (Lucas Monteverde, Jose Ramon Araya and Santiago Stirling), the Pieres brothers fought of the competition to win (King Power Foxes 14 v 8 UAE) and they once again lifted the Gold Cup together, six years after having previously won the tournament playing alongside each other in 2009 in Jean-Francois Decaux’s La Bamba de Areco team. This was also a third victory for younger brother Facundo Pieres, who won the Cup in 2013.
The title of Most Valuable Player went to Facundo Pieres while Best Playing Pony was named as Divina, owned and ridden by Pablo MacDonough.
