During Watches and Wonders, Gucci chose to host its VIP clients and the media elite within a magnificent estate at the entrance to Geneva and overlooking the lake. The entire Haute Horlogerie collection was superbly presented, as well as the new collection of more affordable yet equally cheerful and original watches! After a very successful entry into the world of Haute Horlogerie last year, marking the 50th anniversary of its first watches, Gucci is once again raising the bar. Its move upmarket is taking place at the top of the pyramid as well as at the base, with fewer yet more high-quality references. In luxury watchmaking, Gucci is asserting its style and broadening its range. Such is the case of the famous Grip, which is now available in mint green sapphire, powered by a self-winding jumping-hour movement. Along with the new team he is putting in place, Managing Director Watches & Jewelry Maurizio Pisanu is positioning Gucci in a new segment: that of rainbow luxury.
