Panerai is developing e-commerce and opening its new online boutique for Europe and Switzerland. For the occasion, an example of Lo Scienziato in titanium will be available exclusively online for purchase.

The website Panerai.com is being modernised in both form and content, and its functions will now include e-commerce activities for the European market and Switzerland. 

As is already the case in China and the United States, the e-boutique will enable people intuitively to select the timepieces they like, to compare prices, design and functions, to complement them with appropriate accessories, to add them to their wish-list and to finalise the purchase in a few simple steps. All this can be done at home, while still enjoying the quality of a specialised service designed for the most demanding enthusiasts.

To celebrate the launch of this new platform, one out of 100 existing examples of Lo Scienziato – Luminor 1950 Tourbillon GMT Titanio – 47mm (PAM00767) will be available exclusively for online purchase. Clients who buy this special timepiece will also be offered the opportunity to take part in the Laboratorio di Idee Experience, an exclusive private visit to the Manufacture in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, to see the place where Panerai creations come to life and to admire at close quarters the abilities and skills of the master watchmakers of the Atelier de Haute Horlogerie who make the models with the most complications. Such a watch is Lo Scienziato, a combination of engineering and design thanks to its skeletonised P.2005/T movement with tourbillon regulator and its extremely light titanium case made using the innovative technique of Direct Metal Laser Sintering – a 3D print formed layer by layer by a fibre optic laser working on titanium powder. 

Many services are available at the new European e-boutique, making the website a digital access point to the Panerai universe. These include the Panerai Concierge, who is always available to the client by telephone or in live chat, the opportunity to request free gift wrapping and a specially printed greeting card, a wide choice of payment options, indication of the availability of a product for sale, and the freedom to return it. 

The Boutique Pick-Up service can be used at the boutiques in London, Paris and Munich.
